Which Disney ship should we choose? Is a verandah worth it? How do we book those special onboard experiences? And what needs to happen before we sail?
Those are exactly the kinds of questions I’m here to help you answer.
I’m Veronica Loftin, a Fairytale Journeys Travel advisor based in Kinston, North Carolina, helping clients nationwide plan Disney Cruise Line vacations. My firsthand experience includes Disney Wish Concierge and the Disney Destiny preview and maiden voyage.
From choosing your sailing to getting ready for embarkation day, I bring personal experience, practical recommendations, and hands-on booking help to your vacation plans.
Which Disney cruise ship and itinerary are right for you?
Maybe you have your heart set on a particular ship. Maybe you’re starting with school-break dates, a departure port, or a destination you’ve always wanted to visit.
I’ll help you compare ships and itineraries around your budget, who’s traveling, and what you want from the experience. We’ll consider sailing length, sea days, ports, and the onboard features your family is most excited about.
For your first Disney cruise, we’ll work through where to start. If you’ve sailed before, tell me what you loved and what you’d like to try next.
Which stateroom type and location should you choose?
Inside, oceanview, verandah, or Concierge? Choosing your stateroom involves more than picking a category.
I’ll help you compare room types, sleeping arrangements, locations, and prices. We’ll consider what matters to your group, whether that’s enjoying your own verandah, keeping extended family close together, or leaving more room in the budget for other experiences.
Questions about motion, walking distances, or where a room sits on the ship? Let’s talk through those before you book.
Is Disney Cruise Line Concierge worth it?
Having sailed in Concierge aboard the Disney Wish, I can share firsthand perspective and help you consider whether the experience fits your priorities.
We’ll look at the accommodations, services, and amenities on the ship you’re considering, alongside the difference in price.
I’ll give you an honest opinion about where that additional spending may add value for your vacation. Your priorities and budget will guide the conversation.
Can you help with a hotel before our cruise and transportation to the port?
Yes! I can help arrange pre-cruise accommodations and ground transfers so those pieces fit into your overall vacation.
We’ll talk through your arrival plans, where it makes sense to stay, and how you’ll get to the port. We can also consider your transportation needs after the cruise.
Having those details worked out ahead of time gives you fewer things to juggle when it’s finally time to leave.
Can you book our port adventures and onboard activities?
Yes! I’ll make recommendations based on your travelers’ ages, interests, budget, and how you want to spend your vacation.
We’ll discuss your preferences and priorities before your booking window opens. If you’d like me to handle the reservations, I offer to book your selected port adventures and onboard activities as soon as your window opens, subject to availability.
That includes helping you plan for experiences such as adult dining and other activities that need advance reservations. We’ll discuss backup choices, too, so I know what you’d enjoy if a first choice isn’t available.
Can you help us get a Royal Gathering reservation?
Absolutely! I can handle the Royal Gathering reservation for you when its booking window opens, subject to availability.
We’ll discuss your interest ahead of time so it’s part of our planning. You’ll have someone keeping track of that reservation step alongside the other details of your cruise.
Will you help us prepare for Disney Cruise Line online check-in?
Yes! You’ll complete your online check-in, and I’ll provide guidance to help you understand the process and prepare what you need.
You’ll also receive practical planning resources and reminders covering travel documents, packing, embarkation day, onboard life, and time ashore.
When a detail feels confusing, you’ll have someone to ask who knows your vacation plans.
Do you offer Disney Cruise Line onboard credit?
Yes! Every Disney cruise booked with me receives onboard credit from me as a thank-you for trusting me with your vacation.
It’s an extra perk alongside the personal planning, reservation assistance, and support you’ll receive throughout the process.
Does it cost extra to book my Disney cruise with you?
My cruise planning services come at no additional cost to you when you book your vacation with me.
You’ll receive help with the initial decisions, recommendations tailored to your family, reservation assistance, planning resources, reminders, and personal support as questions come up.
You don’t need to arrive with the ship, stateroom, hotel, and activities already figured out. Helping you bring those pieces together is part of what I do.
