Fairytale Journeys Travel Top 5 Advisor · 2023, 2024 & 2025
Maybe your family is counting down to big coasters, a favorite wizarding world, or your first visit to Epic Universe. Then the planning questions arrive: Which hotel? Which tickets? Is Express worth it? And how do we fit it all together?
That’s where I come in.
I’m Veronica Loftin, a Fairytale Journeys Travel advisor based in Kinston, North Carolina, helping clients nationwide plan Universal Orlando vacations. I bring extensive firsthand experience across Universal Orlando’s parks and resorts, along with recommendations tailored to your travelers and budget.
I help with hotel and ticket choices, make dining recommendations and reservations, and create personalized touring plans. We’ll build your vacation around what excites your family, with room for a pool afternoon or a slower moment when you need one.
Which Universal Orlando hotel is right for your family?
Your hotel choice shapes your budget, transportation, pool time, and how easily you can take a break from the parks. I’ll help you compare room arrangements, resort amenities, and park benefits alongside the total cost of your vacation.
I have favorites for different reasons, and those reasons are exactly the kinds of things we’ll talk through together:
Why is Sapphire Falls one of my favorites?
I love Loews Sapphire Falls Resort for the water taxi, the great pool, and the price point for a more upscale stay. For me, it offers a lovely balance of resort atmosphere and value.
If you want your hotel to feel like part of the vacation, with time to enjoy the pool and a relaxing boat ride to CityWalk, it’s one I’m excited to discuss. We’ll compare the rates for your dates and the benefits that matter to your family.
What are my favorite value and Express-inclusive hotel options?
Universal’s Endless Summer Resort is my favorite value option. When keeping the hotel budget in check is a priority, it’s a place I like to include in the conversation.
For a stay that includes Universal Express Unlimited, my personal preference is Loews Royal Pacific Resort. I like the combination of its price point and the Express benefit. We’ll compare the room cost with your other hotel and Express options for your dates.
Royal Pacific’s included Express Unlimited benefit applies to participating attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, with valid park admission required. It does not include Epic Universe or Volcano Bay. Sapphire Falls and Endless Summer do not include that complimentary Express benefit.
My favorites give us a starting point. Your travelers, priorities, and budget guide the recommendation.
Which Universal tickets do you need?
We’ll start with the parks you want to visit, how many days you have, and whether you want to move between parks on the same day.
I’ll help you compare the ticket options available for your dates, including how Epic Universe fits into your vacation. If riding the Hogwarts Express is on your wish list, you’ll need the appropriate Park-to-Park admission for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
You don’t need to arrive knowing which ticket to buy. Sorting through those choices is part of what I do.
Is Universal Express Pass worth it for your trip?
That depends on your dates, the parks you’re visiting, your must-do attractions, and how you want to spend your time and money.
I’ll help you compare Express options with your hotel choices and overall plans. We’ll look at what each option covers so you understand what you’re buying.
If Epic Universe is part of your trip, we’ll review its Express options separately from the hotel benefit for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
How many days should you plan, including Epic Universe?
A ride-focused getaway, a first visit with children, and a trip with plenty of pool time can need very different schedules.
We’ll talk through Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, and whether Volcano Bay belongs in your plans. I’ll recommend a trip length and park-day arrangement based on your interests, available time, and budget.
Epic Universe deserves a place in the planning conversation from the start. We’ll consider your priorities there, your ticket choices, transportation, and how it fits with your other park days.
Can you create a personalized Universal touring plan?
Yes! I create personalized touring plans around your family’s interests, must-do attractions, and preferred pace.
We’ll consider height requirements, comfort with thrill rides, shows, character stops, dining plans, and breaks. If your group has different interests, I’ll help you think through how the day can work for everyone.
Your plan can also account for the Early Park Admission benefits available for your stay, your Express choices, and travel time. I’ll help you understand how to use the plan and adjust when your family needs a slower moment.
You’ll head into the parks with a plan made for your travelers and room to enjoy the moments you didn’t schedule.
Can you recommend restaurants and book our dining reservations?
Absolutely! I make dining recommendations and can book reservations for you at restaurants that accept them, subject to availability.
Tell me about your family’s tastes, picky eaters, budget, and any celebrations. We’ll consider restaurants in the parks, at CityWalk, and at the resorts alongside where you’ll be spending your time.
I can also suggest quick meals and snack stops to work into your touring plan. Whether you want a relaxed dinner or a quick bite between attractions, food should fit your day.
Can you help combine Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World?
Yes! I can help bring both destinations into one vacation, including your hotel stays, park days, dining plans, and transportation between destinations.
We’ll discuss whether changing hotels makes sense for your trip, how to divide your time, and where to include a break. I’ll also help you keep Universal Express and Disney Lightning Lane plans straight, since they work differently.
If your wish list includes both destinations, let’s plan the whole trip together so the pieces fit.
What support do you receive when you book with me?
From hotel and ticket decisions to dining reservations and personalized touring plans, I help bring the details together. You’ll receive planning resources, reminders, recommendations, and personal support as questions come up.
My vacation planning services come at no additional cost to you when you book your vacation with me.
You can ask, “Does this make sense for us?” and expect an honest conversation about your options.
Ready to plan your Universal Orlando vacation?
Send me your preferred dates, travelers’ ages, budget, and the experiences you’re most excited about. Tell me if you’re dreaming of big rides, immersive worlds, pool afternoons, or a little of everything.
